It is not necessary to create an entire IT-department for the implementation of cargoRent. Large investment is neither required in hard- and software nor in a separate computer center, which would bind a high amount of capital and fixed assets. For cargoRent it is enough to have access to the Internet. This is all you need to manage your fleet.
The costs of running and maintaining cargoRent are far lower than the costs which are saved by the program’s implementation. A monthly fee per vehicle covers everything: usage of the Internet platform and software updates. There are no additional costs for maintenance, service or hotlines.
Costs are saved thanks to:
- An average sustainable reduction of diesel and running costs by 5.5% (survey of the Fraunhofer Institut on telemetric systems) due to fewer detours and economic driving
